This is a story of the pains of substance abuse, addictions, emotion and physical pain.
This book focuses on the demand for drugs as the root of the drug problem as opposed to the
supply of drugs available. The author uses Lima, Ohio as an example of a typical mid-America
drug infected community. He, also, discusses addiction and recovery. After investigative
research in Miami Florida, Los Angelas California and Lima-Peru Dr. Hodge decided to write
this book with a treatment plan.
